Gratitude Sunday

G r a t i t u d e * S u n d a y

Today we are joining Taryn at Wooly Moss Roots for
G r a t i t u d e  *  S u n d a y
{Sunday's heartfelt tradition. A time to slow down, to reflect, to be grateful. A list of gratitudes.}

Highlights of our gratitudes this last week:

-My husband figuring out how to replace the clutch on our old 4Runner which saved us quite a bit of money.

-One day when the temperatures warmed up to the 30's so we could go for a hike up the mountain by our house.

-Exploring deer and big horn sheep tracks in the snow with our little nugget in the pack on my back and starting to teach her about tracking.

-A bald eagle flying low over us while we were hiking and then soaring way out into the valley below us. It was such a soul-filling, beautiful sight and I felt so honored to watch.

-Getting into another local vending event in February!

-Finding the free scrap wood pile behind a local wood shop. I'm thrilled to have easy access to great hardwood scraps for kindling so we don't have to chop kindling in the freezing weather outside.

-Finally hearing late in the week that our offer was accepted for the house we want! Now we have to complete a home inspection and decide if we can afford all the repairs the old fixer-upper needs.

  1. Congrats on the offer! I hope everything works out just as you want. Just remember, since the home needs repairs you can always come back with a lower offer to cover the costs. Don't feel awkward about doing this. Most homeowners know that their place needs work.

    Best wishes!
