Gratitude Sunday

Today we are joining Taryn at Wooly Moss Roots for

{Sunday's heartfelt tradition. A time to slow down, to reflect, to be grateful. A list of gratitudes.}

A few of our gratitudes from the last week:

-Discovering oregano oil! I was still quite sick this last week because I did not allow myself to rest enough so someone recommended I take oregano oil for my sinus congestion. It works wonders!

-My husband getting a call from Fish Wildlife and Parks because he was selected to participate in a special elk hunt next week in an area that is over populated and did not have enough elk harvested during the fall hunting season. Fingers crossed that he is able to harvest an elk next week!

-Finding a toddler's instrument set at a second hand store for only $8. We are having so much fun making music with our little nugget!

-Having our most successful month to date in our Etsy shop since we opened last February. We have been putting more effort into our Etsy shops to build up our small business/work from home income so we can feel confident in moving even further from town knowing we have this source of income to support our family. We are so grateful to all of our customers and supporters!

-Getting special orders from repeat customers who loved our creations so much they want to purchase another item made to order!

-A beautiful blue sky day which inspired us to take a much needed hike down to the river. Although I was feeling weak and congested when we started out, the fresh air and exercise made me feel stronger and healthier.

-My husband feeling so happy and content he was whistling a lovely tune that was such wonderful music to my ears as I worked.

  2. How did you take your oregano oil? I dropped a bundle on some earlier this year when I was sick and struggled with taking it.

    1. I have the oil of oregano and just drop 2 drops in a small glass of water, shoot it and then drink some water/tea immediately afterwards to rinse it down. This works for me since I don't do well with taking capsules but I think most folks prefer the capsules since you don't get the strong taste!

    1. I'm actually working on a blog post about oregano oil to post this week so you'll have to check back to read more about it. I seem to get sinus issues almost every year and this is the first year I've heard of using oregano oil and it is amazing stuff!
